Since 2013, KRI has been continuously sharing its knowledge with university students (first at the Faculty of Humanities and Natural Sciences of the University of Presov and since 2022 at the Faculty of Economics of TUKE) within the subject „Good governance of territorial development at the local and regional level”. Topics covered by the KRI within the subject mainly include: Socio-economic development planning – starting points, Global risks and their impacts on territory development; Impacts of climate change at the local level and adaptation, Strategic and legislative framework for local and regional development, Preparation and implementation of a successful project to support the development of the territory. All delivered lectures connect theoretical knowledge with their practical application.
